(1) If the carburetor being disassembled is for an
automatic transmission engine, remove dashpot
assembly and dashpot lockwasher.
(2) Remove the fuel bowl by removing the four
clamp ring retainer screws and lockwashers, and
clamps. Lift the clamp ring off the fuel bowl.
Remove and discard the fuel bowl gasket and the
paper clamp ring gasket.
