Remove four cap screws (2 per side) securing
condenser assembly to condenser mounting
brackets.
5. Remove hex nut securing condenser modulator
valve to modulator valve bracket.
12. Remove condenser assembly with modulator
valve and high pressure valve attached.
6. Remove modulator valve. CAUTION: Do not
attempt to re-move or replace the short tube
on the condenser.
NOTE:
1. When removing condenser assembly, lift
assembly upward being careful not to
damage the condenser outlet line and
fitting and/or radiator core.
2.
Do not attempt to transfer or re-place the
condenser outlet line, the high pressure
valve or the modulator valve tube.
1. Remove caps from short tube on condenser and
modulator valve fit-ting. Connect tube to valve
assembly and tighten fitting.

Place condenser modulator valve assembly in
position in modulator valve bracket and secure
to bracket with retaining hex nut. See figure 24.
3. When replacing condenser assembly,
transfer modulator valve and bracket
assembly to re placement condenser.
3. Remove caps from modulator valve fitting and
by-pass hose. Connect hose to valve assembly and
tighten fitting.
1. Install Pressure Test Gauge Manifold and
exhaust system pressure by following steps 1
through 6 under "Removal of Condenser Assembly
With Modulator Valve and High Pressure Valve
Attached."
4. Install new dehydrator assembly. See
"Installation of Dehydrator Assembly".
5.
Pressure test, evacuate and charge according
to procedure under "Pres-sure Testing,
Evacuating and Charging System".
2. Disconnect Bowden wire at manual control on
condenser modulator valve.
6. Test for leaks.
3. Disconnect by-pass hose fitting at condenser
modulator valve using Tool - AC L53-7. Cap hose
and valve fittings.
4. Disconnect modulator valve from short tube on
condenser assembly. See figure 24.
