7. Remove the choke linkage - if
included.
9. Remove the two bowl vent screws and the bowl vent tube.
10. Remove the air bleed screen, if included.

8. Remove the two choke plate screws and slide the choke plate out of the shaft. - Slide the choke shaft out of the airhorn.
NOTE
Before removing the choke plate screws, the spread-out tip of each screw due to staking, should be removed to prevent damaging the threads in the choke shaft. The tip of each screw can be removed by careful filing. Do not damage the choke shaft or plate with the file.

11. Remove the power valve piston and stem assembly using Snap-On Tool No. MC-138.
