Single Arm Type Quarter
Window Regulator
REMOVAL
Take out the rear seat and seat
back. Remove the quarter trim
panel. Lower the glass and de-
tach the ground cable from the
battery.
Disconnect the regulator arm
from the glass channel roller.
Disconnect the wires from the
motor at the relay.
Remove the four cap screws
that secure the regulator to
the quarter window panel. Lower the assembly and remove it through the
bottom opening.
Note: If the glass cannot be lowered far enough to detach the regulator
arm from the roller, take out the cap screws that fasten the regulator
to the body panel and lower the regulator and glass until the regulator
is exposed.
INSTALLATION
Position the regulator assembly inside the quarter panel. Install the four
cap screws that fasten the assembly to the panel.
Lower the glass and attach the regulator arm to the glass channel roller by
means of the spring type retainer. Tighten the regulator cap screws.
Connect the motor wiring to the relay and the ground cable to the battery.
Raise the window and adjust as may be necessary for proper window
operation.
Install trim panel, rear seat and seat back.
