Corvette. Sales of the 1958 Corvette reached 9,168. Enough units were finally sold to turn a profit for Corvette for the first
time. Extensive redesign for 1958 included new body panels, a new instrument panel, and new upholstery. 1958
Corvettes featured another first for any car, dual headlights on each fender and a 160MPH speedometer.
