WORKING (COMBUSTION) CHAMBERS
(1) Three working chambers are provided by the contact of the apex seals and the inner wall of the rotor housing.
(2) The working chambers are composed of rotors within the rotor housings, sandwiched between the
side housings and the intermediate housing, thus resulting in six working chambers.
(3) The eccentric shaft is supported by the bearings of the stationary gear housing installed at the front
and rear housings.
The rotor is supported on the eccentric journal by the rotor bearing.
The internal gear (secured to the rotor) meshes with the stationary gear.
(4) In this way, when the rotor is pulled around by the eccentric part of the eccentric shaft, there is planetary motion around the stationary gear, and one of the four strokes is always occurring in each of the three working chambers.
The force of the combustion is received, and output is transmitted to the eccentric shaft.
