2. Remove all main body cover screws
and
lift the main body cover off the
main body. Dis
card the main body cover gasket.

1. Remove the air cleaner anchor
screw and
bleeder screen washer. On the governor
equipped
carburetor, also remove the main
body cover
screw holding the governor vent
tube and remove
the governor vent tube.
NOTE
On some governor-equipped carburetors,
it will be necessary to remove a
snap ring,
pump operating rod seal, washer,
and
spring from the bottom of the pump
oper
ating rod before removing the accelerating
pump assembly.

3. Lift the accelerating pump assembly
out of
the main body and remove the pump
return spring.
